Deaf Diaspora!

Deaf Diaspora! event is a cultural festival celebrating our pride in the Deaf and Sign Language community. This is being held on the same day as other countries in the world, where similar events will be held, such as lobbies, events and festivals. This event is traditionally held on the last Saturday in September every year, an throughout the world. 

 

The event will be made up of zones, including:

 

  • Deaf Culture
  • Arts (performances, workshops, activities)
  • Food
  • Exhibitions
  •  

We aim to welcome families and friends from the UK and worldwide.

 

The evening entertainment (for over 18s) will take part in a nearby venue where well-known performers who will be playing Deaf music. It will start from 9pm until 11.30pm.
